About us Situated in Budapest, Hungary, Gallery 567 is the first in Europe to bring you mid-century design from "behind the Iron Curtain"*. One of our objective is to rediscover the hidden treasures in design of the postwar period from Social Realism to the local versions of the New Look, the Atomic, the Pop or the Space Age. Basically, our aim is to provide our customers, design classics and quality period items that find a new place in their homes or offices. At Gallery 567, we are collectors as well as dealers. We enjoy sharing our knowledge and passion. We hope to develop not only a place to shop but also an informative site where you can learn more about design history in this part of the world. Almost
all pieces are vintage.
Lighting is rewired according to EU standards. Our
collection covers the late 40's to the early 80's. From time to time we will also present pieces of interest from the Bauhaus and the Art Deco period. Do
